i also don't really love these permission posts. usually it's giving permission for something that's not really acceptable. i dunno why i still read them! taking two samples of the same thing is just rude. although taking each sample in the store is perfectly fine. hey, you gotta try everything once ;)

I have to say, I'm against the sample thing, just because of the traffice jam that is causes in the grocery stores.. esp. stores like Costco, when people go there specifically for the samples. I am one that likes to get in and out of the grocery store, and people camped out in the middle of the aisle feeding their kids the third cup of free juice, really gets on my nerves. Whew, I feel better now. :)

Lol Costco does this! But it's very sanitary (gloves, aprons etc.) and children have to have their parents with them in case they have allergies.

I'm with Miss Malone! I always bypass the samples.

I am a clumsyface and I accidentally knocked over a giant display of cheese samples at Dean and Deluca the other day. Mortifying.

There was a cheese sampling at one of the local high end grocery stores a while back. Cheese is a HUGE weakness for me. They must have had 12 different and unattended cheese stations spread throughout the store. I made little cheese kabobs with the toothpicks at each station! I was a very happy Fuzzles! :nerdgirl:

I take two anyway. I'm too hungry to turn down free food

You actually do need permission to take two free samples. Most stores have a "one per customer" policy. These "you don't need permission to..." posts are really obnoxious. I wish there was a way to opt out of them on this feed. I'll probably end up unsubscribing.

The only place I know that does this is BJ's and I rarely go there...

I used to do this... but like miss malone, I've begun thinking about how unsanitary those could be! So I've pretty much stopped taking free samples.

Ew, every time I see these I just think of how unsanitary they must be. I wouldn't even take one!
