Oh yeah. You can replace "food" with "sex" here. They are pretty interchangable. ;)

I always do this during the beginning of a run. It's almost always pizza! Then, when I get into it, after a mile or two, thoughts of any kind of food just disappear.

I obsess. So yeah, I think about what I ate that day. And the funny part is usually I don't eat enough to have to work out lol!!

I disagree--or perhaps I'm more inclined to be sensitive about this since I have an eating disorder. Some people feel so guilty about food that they then become addicted to a.) thinking about all the food they "can't" have and b.) ridding their bodies of all the food that they KNEW they couldn't have but just binged on in a moment of "weakness" or anxiety. Some people do the latter by vomiting, some people take laxatives, some people exercise excessively.I've heard people argue that 'exercising excessively' can't be that bad of a problem, because at least you're being healthy, right? Well, if you're spending two hours straight on the treadmill motivated by fear and self-loathing, and all you do is think about food that you feel terrible about, then that's not very healthy at all.Sorry, I know that for some people food is a pleasant reminder of why they want to run that extra ten minutes, but for me it kindof struck a nerve.

Oh man, I always do this. Probably doesn't help that I sometimes watch the Food Network when I'm running. It makes it seem more worthwhile some days when you're just soo tired.

When I get tired, I think about the popcorn I'm going to make when I get home. I get all happy and finish on a good note. But then I'm disappointed when I'm going to bed and realized that I didn't make popcorn.

I must confess I've never done this. When I'm working out, I'm entirely focused on the activity -- nothing else.

I don't really do this. It looks nice where she's jogging though :)
