Absolutely worth it. With the kinds of medicines and therapies/therapists they have these days it makes it pretty easy to get the help you need if it happens to you.

I had after my second son, I would just stop, sit down and bawl my eyes out for no reason. But then I also knew I could get the help I needed after having my third. Since I knew what to look for I was better prepared.

I said yes, it's worth the risk, if you know to be prepared in advance and have treatment ready for after the baby is born. I did not have PPD, but I had anxiety with dizzy spells, muscle twitches and some other scary symptoms. There were times when I felt like the floor under me was inclined, like when being on a boat. I thought I was developing MS and saw all kinds of doctors, but nobody could tell me what it was. I went through a few months of hell. I hope that when I give birth to my baby this time I will not experience anything like that or worse. :fingerscrossed: It is very scary, so I can see why someone might just decide not to have anymore children, depending on the difficulty they went through.

I had PPD pretty bad with my first baby but not at all with my second. It's definitely worth the risk.
