American Mom Jailed in Ghana While Trying to Adopt

American Mom Jailed in Ghana While Trying to Adopt

Christine and Sol Moghadam of Irvine, CA, have been blogging about their journey to adopt four siblings from Ghana since 2010. But with their dream almost realized, they've hit a major snag: they have been detained in Ghana just as they were trying to bring the four children back to the United States.

Christine was forced to spend the night in jail, while her husband was held in a detention center and their two biological children spent the night in an orphanage.
