Autistic Teen Receives Hate Mail

A Jaw-Droppingly Offensive Letter About an Autistic Teen

Every parent wants their children to fit in and get along with their peers, so you can imagine a Newcastle, Ontario, mom’s horror when she received a letter suggesting that her autistic teen be euthanized.

An anonymous note was sent to 13-year-old Max's grandmother's house saying that Max is a neighborhood "nuisance," "retarded," and a "dreadful" noise polluter, the Huffington Post reports. As a result of the letter, the family is worried about their safety and would like to press charges if they can determine who sent the letter.

To find out how other neighbors feel about Max, view the whole story on the Huffington post.
