LilSugar reader Beaner was showered by her family and friends and shares some party ideas in The Pregnancy Posse group. I had my Baby Shower over the weekend, and wanted to share some ideas, in case you needed some for your showers. Click through all of Beaner's tips below. Have your own shower to share? Instant Subscribe Clothesline Made With Onesies I cut out letters from scrapbook paper that spelled out "Party 4 Peanut." Decorate a Diaper Activity I wasn't into group games, so this was a fun table activity people could do on their own. All you need are some permanent markers and a bunch of disposable diapers. Instructions I wrote this little poem to explain to people what to do. Diaper Examples Here are some of the ones people came up with. I had so much fun reading them all after everyone went home. Diaper Cake A friend offered to make me a diaper cake. Crib to Hold Gifts I got this idea from my mother-in-law and thought it was so cute. I decorated it with a colorful baby quilt I made (on the back of the couch), and a quilt my mom made (inside the crib). Books Instead of Cards On my invitation, instead of cards I asked people to bring a favorite children's book and sign the inside cover. It's a fun way to remember your friends and family, and also a great way to start your child's library. Onesie Cookie Favors For thank you favors, I had a local bakery make sugar cookies in the shape of onesies.
