While reassuring children that a divorce isn't their fault, and that everything will be OK, Dinosaurs Divorce goes a bit further than other books. It addresses some of the difficult situations that kids might face — like one parent getting remarried — in a realistic way that might not appeal to certain readers. For example, a new girlfriend is depicted as a witch, and while that's obviously not how parents hope well-adjusted kids will see things, many of them probably will. This one is more appropriate for slightly older kids whose parents are a little further along in the divorce process.
