The Bush Family Cooks the Same Meal Every Year For Christmas Eve, and Can We Come Over For Dinner?

Some families (mine) eat seven types of fish on Christmas Eve, and some families make takeout Chinese a Christmas Day staple, but for the Bush family, it's all about Mexican food on Christmas Eve. In a "Six Minute Marathon with Savannah," Jenna Bush Hager and her twin sister, Barbara, shared that their favorite family tradition has to be their yearly Christmas Eve meal, and honestly, can I come over for dinner? Because that sounds way better than calamari prepared four ways . . .

"Mexican food on Christmas Eve is my very favorite family tradition," Jenna shared with Savannah Guthrie, as a photo of the pair in front of what looks like a homemade enchilada casserole popped up on the video. Barbara nodded in agreement but added that her personal favorite tradition is a bit more widespread of a holiday moment: "Waking up early on Christmas morning."

As someone who likes fish but doesn't love it enough to consume seven-plus different types every Dec. 24, you'd best believe I'll be pitching this Mexican food tradition this year. Quesadillas, here I come.
