Cancer Patient Scores Touchdown at Football Game

7-Year-Old Cancer Patient Scores a Touchdown at Nebraska Spring Game

If we ever discover that joy can cure illness, we should credit the Huskers for helping us advance the idea! The Nebraska football team just helped a 7-year-old brain cancer patient, Jack Hoffman, have the thrill of a lifetime with the support of a crowd of 60,000 people.

As Fox Sports reports, Jack, who is from Atkinson, NE, and loves football, was taken under the Huskers' wing last year. Just this past week, they invited him to participate in Saturday's Spring Game. Little did he know he would wind up stealing the show!

Watch below as the smallest Husker takes a handoff and runs 69 yards to the end zone, triggering huge cheers from the crowd!
