Candy in Prescription Bottles Handed Out to Kids at Sam's Club

Dear Sam Walton, Say It Ain't So!

While parents warn their children about the tricks that can be found in candy on Halloween, most don't worry about the dangers of going to their local grocer. But, some kiddos received medicine bottles full of sweets on their family's Saturday outing to Sam's Club. Recently, a man, his wife and two children walked through the doors of the warehouse store where both daughters were each handed real prescription bottles filled to the rim with Dots and Tootsie Rolls. While no harm was done, the store's freebie put the idea that candy lives in medicine bottles in youngsters' heads. What do you think about this marketing stunt?

WTH? As a kid I was rushed to the hospital, stomach pumped, heart monitor, false code blues since I squirmed from my sensors, tied down, etc. I was a false alarm though, my folks and doctors thought I had ingested some Rx pills. When they still tell the story they talk about how scared they were. Big FAIL Sam's Club.
