Eco Friendly Paint Options - Eco Spec by Benjamin Moore

EcoTot: Eco Spec Paint by Benjamin Moore

It seems that everything we use these days causes us to worry. The air, plastic bottles, painted toys, etc. So when it comes to painting your walls, you do not want heavy paint fumes.

Joining the green movement is Benjamin Moore with their eco-friendly paint, Eco Spec. The paint is low odor and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compouds). If you are pregnant or have kids, it is recommended that you let someone else paint your house so you can get out of the house and avoid the fumes altogether. If you're going to be stubborn and do it yourself, like I did, then definitely use a safer product like Eco Spec and know that you're helping to preserve our ozone while beautifying your home!

This is great timing because I'm actually headed to a Benjamin Moore retailer today or tomorrow to pick up my nursery paint. I've been considering low VOC and this seems like a good idea.

OMG! I'm not pregnant and don't have children but I am very sensitive to paint fumes. This may allow me to paint inside my house! thank you!
