Ecotot: Dittany Baby "Green" Skid Pants

Ecotot: Dittany Baby "Green" Skid Pants

Leg warmers are big in lil apparel right now, and a mama who is looking to keep up with the trends while staying eco-friendly can dress her tot up in Dittany Baby "Green" Skid Pants ($12). Made from recycled cotton, these adorable leg warmers will not only keep her legs (and arms) warm, but they'll also protect her knees from rug burns and scuffs while crawling, learning to walk, and playing. Look for them in stores or get a pair online.

the target ones are cute on babies. my cousin has a pair of pink ones for her daugther. My daugther was crawling in the heat of summer (105-117) and i kept her in onsies mostly. I bought a pair of long socks for young girls and she wore those. They worked really well at keeping her from having rug burns. the carpet in the house we moved into is pretty crappy, neraly industrial. They were only a dollar, and for something shes going to drag along the carpet, i dont particuraly want to shell out 15 bucks for it. lol this is a picture of her in them. http://a247.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/20/l_9f060da4a482bcd3cfa22d61d16c1fce.jpg

oh boy that's a cute baby!! I have a couple of the target ones for my son (in the manly prints of course). He's only used them a few times for crawling.

I just put on sleepers. If she needs to be warm, the sleepers are better all around anyway. If she'd been crawling in the summer and needed skin protection, I would've gotten these. I think they're sooooo ugly but the protection would be worth it.
