Four-year-old Leo was suffering from a rash and a fever, and quickly getting worse. His mother took him to a weekend medical center and then to the pediatrician, but tests for strep and Scarlet fever came back negative.

As his face swelled up beyond recognition, she continued to post updates and photos on Facebook, and that's when something beautiful happened: friends, a pediatrician and a pediatric cardiologist among others, reached out and told her to get him to the hospital, speculating that it may be a rare auto-immune disorder called Kawasaki disease. Thanks to that advice, this story has a happy ending.
