i'm a party planner and i love doing kids birthdays. right now im in the midst of planning a super hero party for 12 5-year-olds. the key really is to structure the party loosely and then go with whatever activity the kids enjoy the most! the last party i did was an 'idol' theme for a bunch of 9 year old girls. i bring a karaoke machine to that party and i swear if the party hadn't ended because their parents were there to pick them up, those girls would have been at it all night!
