After nearly a year spent growing stronger in two different Indiania NICUs, little Olive Rutkowski has finally come home.

Born at just 23 weeks while her parents were visiting family in Indiana, Olive initially weighed less than two pounds and suffered from pneumonia. She was too delicate to endure the trip to her parents' home in Omaha, NB, so she was kept in Indiana, where she has slowly grown stronger.

Once doctors deemed Olive strong enough to travel home, her family faced a new challenge: how to transport Olive, who is still on a respirator, the 600 miles between Indiana and Omaha. Thankfully, Grace On Wings, a non-profit airline that specializes in medical transport, stepped in to help. Watch the video below to hear Olive's father, Ben, describe the emotional journey.
