7-Year-Old Donates $10 From Piggy Bank to Family on Food Stamps

Some parents don't let their kids eat candy and ice cream, but when young Helaina Morgan learned that a Syracuse, NY, family couldn't have such treats because they needed food stamps to feed themselves, she decided to send them a treat. The 7-year-old took out $10 from her piggy bank and wrote a letter to the family's 3-year-old daughter so that they would have money for extra groceries.
