Hidden Messes in Moms' Cars

Lil Community: It's Clean Up Time

Parenthood can be messy! L Mimi shares her latest find while cleaning out her car in The Mommy Club group.

Today's the day, I finally did it. I cleaned out my truck. Now I know some of you are wondering why that's such a big deal. Anyone who has a toddler knows what I'm talking about. If you looked [up] dirty in the dictionary there would be a picture of my truck.

While cleaning out my vehicle I found all kinds of crap: change, straws (my son likes to collect them and build things) buttons, and toys. Once I removed my daughter’s car seat I found a smorgasbord of food: French fries, bread crumbs, old chicken nugget pieces, and peanut butter stuck to the car seat. I'm surprised we don't have a colony of ants living in my truck. My husband says don't let the kids eat in the car, but it's not convenient for me to stop and sit down every time my daughter eats she’s slower than molasses.

What surprises have you found hidden in your car? Start asking questions and sharing your advice and tips in The Mommy Club! Here's a detailed guide to posting questions or posts to groups if you are new to the LilSugar Community.

lolol. I keep saying "next day off..." for cleaning the car inside and out and i soooo keep procrastinating. I think we could live in it with what its filled with right now. It makes me sad, I used to keep it so immaculate people would ask me when i got a new car... boy are those days over. haha.

I also have been putting off cleaning my car for a while now....I can see cracker crumbs and crumbs of other unknown substances in the cracks of the seat, ugh. Plus toys, some of my daughter's clothes, books, etc....yeah. It's a mess.

Oh, I hear you. I've been putting off cleaning my car for a while now. And I agree, sometimes there's just no time to sit down and eat, though I only let her snack on crackers or pretzels, pretty much anything that's not soft or sticky.
