How Long Moms Go Without Having Sex

Let's Get Personal: Moms Go HOW Long Without Sex?

It's no big surprise that once kids enter the picture, the amount of intimacy in a parent's marriage or partnership takes a dive. And sometimes that decline is pretty significant. We totally get it. But the results of a new study from Family Circle Magazine threw us for a loop. Of the 553 women (all with at least one child) surveyed in the magazine's online poll, 32 percent of mothers reported going years without having sex with their partners. That's pretty major stuff!

Are you as surprised with the survey's results as we were? We don't need names or details, but are extremely curious as to what's the norm for you, our readers. Did motherhood send your sex life plummeting, or have you been able to manage some semblance of your pre-kids intimacy? If bringing the issue to your attention has totally bummed you out, fear not: we've got your guide to reigniting the spark (even when you know the pitter-patter of little feet are awaiting you with a 6 a.m. wake-up call!).
