Huggies Hopes to Take the Squirm Out of the Diaper Change Experience

Could the days of squirmy diaper changes be a thing of the past? Moms have tried virtually everything – from straightjacket-like contraptions to virtual gymnastics – to keep mobile tots in place when changing a soiled nappy. Now Huggies is coming to the rescue. The company plans to introduce Little Movers Slip-On Diapers next month, a new line of disposable diapers that slide on like a Pull-Up, but are removed like a traditional diaper thanks to stretch sides with special finger tabs.

Calling it a "catch, slip on, and release" experience, the new diapers will facilitate changes both standing up and laying down, which as any mom of a mobile tot knows varies from day-to-day. Will you be buying the diapers?

It's not that hard to change a diaper. and these just sound like pull ups to me. Charge more for less just because its got a different description and name

These sound just like a pull-up to me. Pull up like pants, take apart at the sides. Yep, a pull-up.

Disposable diapers are NOT hard to put on LOL! This comes from a mom who has a hyper active child who NEVER stops running around and is so squirmy during changes. We cloth diaper and use snaps and sometimes even pins. It seriously takes 1 second to pull the tabs around the baby. Even while they are getting up and trying to run away from you while putting it on. It's really not hard at all. They charge you the same price for these but put a lot less in the package. It's NOT worth it!

I see you didn't read the part about the tabs to remove it like a traditional diaper..

Seriously?! What are you going to do when the baby poops?! Pull poop down around the babies legs, have them try to step out of a poopy diaper and then try to wipe the poop up? I think once they try them, no one will buy them again. What a stupid idea. Almost as great as their designer plastic, chemical filled diapers. I can't wait to hear what great ideas they come out with next -_-

Yup! My boy has gone from squirming to all out freak outs when I lay him down on his back for changes and the changing while standing has obvious pitfalls. These should make the process easier.
