Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness is the queen of everything gorgeous — literally, the man says "gorgeous" every three words and it's absolutely, yes I'm going to say it, *gorgeous* — which includes indulging in self-care and taking moments for yourself to do things that make you feel good. As Queer Eye's resident hair and skin guru, it's no surprise to us that JVN's idea of self-care is heading off to the spa for a "little facial moment," but as parents, we know it's difficult to get away for long enough to relax in the spa (plus it's not always in the budget!).

I spoke to Jonathan at Target's Merry Mixer holiday event in NYC and asked him to offer us a JVN-approved self-care solution/gift idea for parents, and since most parents (and people in general) consider strolling the aisles of Target a fun date-night idea or a genius way to get themselves some "me time," his response was enough to make anyone swoon.

Spoiler alert: he's going to instruct you to shop at Target, and I think we can all make that happen if we must (spoiler alert, part two: no "gorgeous" references were harmed in the transcription of these quotes).

"I think a lot of times with parenting you don't have time to get to the dang spa to have a little facial moment."

"What a gorgeous, gorgeous question! I would do things that bring the spa to the home," he told POPSUGAR. "One of the things I love about Target is its naturals aisle — it's one of the best naturals aisles ever. What I would do would be a gorgeous at-home pedi set: a gorgeous exfoliant for your feet, a gorgeous heavy foot cream, and then a gorgeous, comfy pair of socks. And you could also do the same thing for the hands: a little exfoliant, a hand moisturizer . . . that's a gorgeous moment."

But wait, there's more — so, so much more, and it's making us want to run to Target, then hole up at home in a warm bubble bath with a glass of wine, and just relax.

"There are so many really, really gorgeous skincare masks at Target, especially in the naturals aisle, so you could give those to someone, too. I think a lot of times with parenting you don't have time to get to the dang spa to have a little facial moment. The nice thing about a spa experience, whether it's a mani, pedi, or a facial, is the slowing down of things and the treating yourself — and you can totally do that at home (and it's totes cheaper!). You can simulate a spa at home, and that's just gorgeous."

So if you're looking for gifts to buy for your friends in 2019 or need an idea to tell someone getting a present for you, take a peek ahead at some of the items JVN mentioned and go to town on a little spa basket situation. It's seriously the easiest gift idea we've ever heard, but one that'll remind the recipient that it's OK to take a minute (ahem, "moment") for yourself, even if it's just to put on a gorgeous hydrating sheet mask.
