Kiddie Wellness: Sleep Apnea

Some kids can't get a good night's sleep and it isn't because they aren't in bed. My son had a tonsilectomy when he was five. Not only did he have sleep apnea but he also had recurrent ear and throat infections. He was constantly on antibiotics or some other medication. My son is 10 years old now and hasn't had a throat or ear infection and sleeps much better since the operation.
