Check your fridge before your kiddo asks you for his next grilled cheese — Kraft has issued another voluntary recall [2] on over 350,000 boxes of both American and White American cheese Singles with particular sell-by dates, which includes 36,000 previously recalled boxes from back in July.

The popular individually wrapped cheese slices are posing a potential choking hazard, as the batches in question have been reported to retain a small strip of wrapping plastic. Ten consumer complaint reports were filed in July, and in three cases, consumers choked on the small piece of packaging film — there have been seven complaints [3] since then, and two more reports of consumers choking.

The company recalled the following boxes of cheese based on the "best when used by" date code on the packaging in July:

Kraft is now expanding the recall to include one-, three-, and four-pound boxes of both American and white American singles with sell-by dates between Dec. 12, 2015, and March 2, 2016.
