Thanks so much LilRuck and cm2. It is so difficult to get straight, honest information.

Sure anniekim. I'll post a few links and the studies are in them that you can look up as well. Here is the one I'm ordering for this summer: We've been buying organic/all-natural body and hair care products for a long time, but even those are beginning to use some questionable ingredients.

This website rates the toxic levels of everyday products, especially baby items! It's worth a read ... california baby rates VERY well, surprisingly Earth's Best wasn't as great as I thought it would be!

I worry about both skin cancer and the effects of the chemicals in sun screen. So we wear lots of long sleeves and hats! LilRuck--do you have links availablke to any of those sunscreen studies that you mention?

Thanks for this list. I'm paranoid about exposing my children to too much sun and them getting Cancer later on because of my lack of attention. I do agree that the sun is healing and that we need some sun exposure for both physical and emotional health. I'm going to look into the chemical free ones, thanks again.

Rock on for having two chemical-free options in there. Personally I agree with the studies that say sunscreen is toxic and the sun actually heals. We only use (an all natural) sunscreen in rare situations. I'd never let my kids get a sunburn obviously, but we are out in the sun non-stop and are perfectly fine.
