i definitely think pica is related to iron deficiency. i got it with my first child for soap suds and it comes and goes as my iron levels drop. i is strong! almost like an addiction. i finally gave in with baby #3 and ate baby soap bubbles, since babies obviously put things like that in their mouths and it's safe. did not make it better, made it worse! :rotfl: based on how good soap smells to me, i take my iron supplements.
