Molly Mesnick's Gray Chevron Nursery

Jillian Harris and Molly Mesnick Collaborate on a Modern Gender-Neutral Nursery

The showstopper in the room is a marquee M that Jillian and her team at Jillian Harris Design created themselves. Made from foamcore and lights from Target, the display "literally adds 'character' to the space and brings a really classy look to the room without going overboard in cost," Jillian said.

All she used to craft the marquee was foamcore, an X-Acto knife, a ruler, and masking tape. Once the letter was designed and put together, she applied two coats of gesso to cover all the masking tape, two coats of acrylic paint, and one coat of a finishing spray. She added light to the letter with light globes found at Target.
