Mom Reveals the Bittersweet Struggles of Being Pregnant After Miscarriages

As the mother to a little girl, Allie Boss already knows that it's hard being pregnant. However, after suffering two miscarriages before this new pregnancy, she quickly realized just how much more difficult it is to be expecting a baby after enduring such devastating losses.

Instead of keeping her fears to herself, this brave mom opened up and shared her experience on Facebook. "Pregnancy after miscarriage(s) can be a hard/weird thing," Allie wrote along with a sweet snapshot of her little girl and growing baby bump. "I think it's common to questions symptoms but it's 100 times worse after loss."

At times, Allie gets anxiety over the thought of losing another baby or lets herself get caught up in questioning whether this baby is going to make it to full term. Yet despite these unrelenting concerns, Allie didn't let them keep her from sharing her exciting news from the start. Allie decided to announce her pregnancy before even making it to her second trimester because this mama knows firsthand the importance of not taking life for granted.

I questioned if we shared too early because what if something happened again? But here I am 8 weeks 5 days and I'm not going to hide it. You should never feel you have to hide a baby — a precious life — until after the first trimester. I want to celebrate everyday I carry this baby. Heaven forbid something happens. I'm going to celebrate, share and savor every single day. Because this baby deserves it. Because I'm growing a precious longed for, prayed for and wanted life inside of me and that deserves to be celebrated from day one.
