Most hotel kids' menus feature the same unhealthy options — chicken fingers, mac and cheese, and tons of fries. Great on occasion, but not what you want your kids eating if you travel a lot. JW Marriott hotels are looking to give kids healthier options with their new JW Kids menu, created with the help of nutritionist Keri Glassman, that just launched. The new menu includes:
- Kids Nosh — Fresh-cut cucumber and carrot sticks with a low-fat yogurt ranch dip or cheese cubes and grapes. It will be served with an activity book, crayons, and a reusable cup.
- Big Kids — Turkey meatballs and grilled organic chicken along with "mini" adult offerings for more sophisticated palates.
- This, That & the Other — Designed to "empower kids to make their own healthy choices," young guests can mix and match menus with guidance from their parents.
