New FBI App Helps Parents Find Missing Children

While this is an app we encourage every parent to download, we hope no one will ever have to use it.

The FBI has released an iPhone app called "Child ID," which is designed to help parents deal with their worst nightmare: a missing child. The app can store information about your children such as height, weight, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, hair and eye color. According to the FBI's website, in the event of an emergency, a parent can "quickly and easily e-mail the information to authorities with a few clicks" using a special tab in the app.
