PBS KIDS Loops Scoops Provides Eco Education For Kids

Instill Eco-Awareness in Tots With PBS KIDS' Loops Scoops

How do you teach tots to treat our planet better? Teaching eco-awareness is no easy task, but Annie Leonard may be on the right path. The former Greenpeace employee and author of The Story of Stuff has joined with PBS KIDS to produce a series of videos to help educate kids about their impact on the planet. The Loops Scoops site includes eight fun cartoons designed to get kids thinking about the "stuff" they gather on a daily basis and its impact on the global environment. Take a look at this snippet about juice boxes and see how effective a two minute animated short can actually be!
