As kids, most of us think that our mothers nag us. We ignore their advice, disobey them, break rules, and rebel weekly. But the older we get, the more we start to finally realize that instead of knowing and understanding nothing like we once thought, our moms actually know everything about everything. And when we become mothers ourselves, it becomes crystal clear that our moms are the most badass people on the entire planet.

When I became a mother, I called my mom for everything. I asked her questions I never thought I'd ask another living human being; I cried about situations I never thought would affect me; and I begged for help when it came to the smallest of things. I'm pretty sure for the first year of my son's life, I called her at least five times a day. I had no idea what I was doing, and she was the only one who had the answers to my weird questions.
