Twins Born on Star Wars Day Are Given the Most Franchise-Appropriate Names

Judge them by their size, do not — Rowan and Kai Robbins were born with the Force this past Star Wars Day. Once their parents, Kendall and Ross, realized that they could schedule Kendall's induction to deliver their boy-girl twins on May the Fourth, they knew they had to honor the franchise in some way [1] (aside from decorating the twins' nursery with a Star Wars theme [2], which also happened). That's where the twins' middle names [3], Luke and Leia, come in.

"We found out we were having a boy and a girl, and we knew that being born May the 4th, they had to be Luke and Leia — at least for their middle names," Kendall told Fox 13. Once it was confirmed that their twins would likely have a May 4 birthday [4], Ross even showed up to the hospital in a Darth Vader shirt that read "I am your father."

Congratulations to Kendall and Ross — and may the Force be with Rowan Luke and Kai Leia!
