"Folks, my name is Pastor David and I wanted to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus."

The latest item on the list of things that have made 2016 the actual worst has surfaced in the form of a video of a Pastor who filmed himself addressing kids on line to meet Santa, telling them that Saint Nick isn't real. The cringeworthy three-minute video takes place in a mall in Amarillo, TX, and starts with the man introducing himself as Pastor David Grisham, aka a man on a mission to destroy the magic of Christmas.

"I'm going to tell the children here today the truth that there is no Santa Claus and Christmas is about Jesus Christ," he says, seconds before he attempts to ruin the lives of a group of innocent children. "The man you're going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist. Santa's not real. Parents, y'all need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real, when in fact he's not."

At this point in his rant, parents begin to push back, saying things like "I'm their parent," and "these are my kids," before a man comes up close to the camera to repeatedly tell Pastor David to chill out and stop. "I got my kids over there and we don't need you blabbing whatever it is you're blabbing," the man says to him. "It's not your decision for me to tell my kids what is the truth and what's not."

Before long Pastor David finds himself surrounded by people asking him to leave, telling him that it's not his choice to tell kids the truth about Santa. After more ranting he finally bids the angered parents a good day and shuts off his camera, but this surely isn't the end of his tirade against the jolly Christmas icon. On his Facebook page, Last Frontier Evangelism, Pastor David put up another video in which he describes the time he "executed a piñata Santa Claus" at a shooting range.

Sheesh.
