1 Pizza Delivery Man Asked to Play a Family's Piano, and What Happened Next Is Music to Our Ears

Bryce Dudal, an 18-year-old pizza delivery man from Michigan, certainly knows his way around a piano [1]. So when he happened across a gorgeous baby grand in the Varchetti family's home while delivering a pie one evening, he couldn't resist playing it. Thankfully, Julie Varchetti caught the performance on tape [2] — and now the video is going viral.

According to The Washington Post [3], Bryce spied the piano while delivering pizzas for Hungry Howie's and asked the owners if he could take a look. Before long, he was giving his best rendition of Beethoven's "Moonlight" sonata — and the Varchetti clan was in awe.

"He was just beyond good," said Julie, who admitted that Bryce's rendition was so powerful that her 10-year-old son, Ryan, even stopped playing Fortnite [4] to take in the song.

"When he started playing, I was surprised," Ryan explained. "I thought he was going to break the piano at first."

But the most unexpected part of the whole ordeal? The fact that Bryce is self-taught. For him, playing the piano is more about emotion than anything else.

"A lot of people sit down at the piano and play something slow and beautiful," Bryce explained. "But when I play for someone, I like to go all out." He added that "Moonlight" has been a long-time favorite of his because it's a "flashy, fast, amazing piece."

Now sit back, relax, and take in Bryce going to town.
