Well, I was all for quinoa and my family loved it and I got a terrific, awful stomach ache that lasted all night. Thought this was a fluke or I had the flu but the same thing happened the second time around. There's enough quinoa-allergics for websites to abound, so if you have a child with any allergy, maybe try bulgur instead.

I use roasted buckwheat to replace rice in most everything.
