As the Huffington Post reports, the 29-year-old mother has given birth to a huge baby boy in Xinxiang, China. At 15.5 pounds, Chun Chun sets a new record for the heaviest baby ever born in the country.

What is this fascination with breaking records on how big babies can get? I am questioning why that baby was so large in the first place? I would not expect that such a large baby is a good thing?
