I love that chocolate color! I also love that it's not a "baby" room.

I love it! It's childish (in a good way; I know that word is usually negative, but I can't think of a better one!) while still (I'm guessing) maintaining the style you probably have in the rest of your home. It looks great! Is that rug from Anthropologie? I've been wanting the Anthro rug forever, but I'm not sure where/if I could use it; it's just something I love.

Our primary goal when making her room was to keep away from traditional as much as possible. I loved the modern clean lines of the Oeuf classic line. My husband is the artist and I couldn't find any mobiles that weren't primary colors and screamed baby. He made the dolls that represent our family, me, him, our dog, our cat and our soon-to-be daughter. We are still waiting for my glider to be delivered and he is working on a painting *of a cute sea monster* to put in her room. It's so much fun making her room and we still have alot more to do.

So adorable. I like how it's not all cutesy-baby-winnie-pooh. And that mobile is so cool! Are you guys artists of some kind?
