Reviews of Straw Sippy Cups

BabySugar Diaries: Battle of the Straw Sippy Cups

From the outset I was biased toward the Foogo Leak-Proof Straw Bottle ($15 for stainless, $7 for plastic). My older son still uses his Foogo cups (albeit bigger versions) and I loved their Soft Spout Sippy Cup. But given the other new innovative cups on the market, would this one still stand out?

Is it easy for tots to pull water out of it? Yes. The soft spout on both the stainless steel and plastic versions easily provided my lil one with a great sip each time he pulled on them.

Did it leak? When not closed (each cup has a push button lid with a pop-up straw), the cups do leak a bit of water, but they remain sealed when the tops are clicked into place.

Did it live up to the hype? The insulated stainless steel version continues to keep beverages cool while the plastic version's included measurements allow me to monitor daily intake. Unfortunately, the lid can break off when tossed on the floor and replacement parts aren't readily available.
