Sesame Street Hunger Games Spoof

Leave It to Sesame Street to Properly Spoof Catching Fire

The Hunger Games Trilogy may not have been an appropriate choice for a bedtime story while putting the kids down, but it earned a coveted spot on Mom's nightstand. With Catching Fire hitting theaters next week, many of us already have babysitters lined up so we can catch the flick.

But in a sign that when two good things come together they create something great, Sesame Street has put their magic touch on Catching Fire in a Cookie Monster-led spoof titled "Hungry Games – Catching Fur." Starring Cookieness Evereat, Pita (an actual piece of pita bread), Finnicky, and Tick Tock Lady, the hysterical spoof isn't just designed to entertain parents, but to teach kids about patterns and self-regulation.

Don't believe the post-apocalyptic world can be converted into a toddler-friendly skit? Take a look at the Sesame Street magic, and see for yourself!
