You know you're a mom when . . .

  • . . . you know closing a door silently is an art form.
  • . . . you realize you're talking about poop in public. Again.

You can get a booger out of their nose like a boss..lol, you can sing along to all the children's songs, you know the words to all the books, and if someone so much looks at your child the wrong way (or you think they are) your ready to throw down lol.

You can't remember if you last brushed your hair yesterday...or the day before. Your toddler pats your hairy leg and says 'kitty' Your reflexes improve drastically from catching flown objects, dropped cups and other launched projectiles Your 'clean' clothes are just the ones that are the least ratty/soiled You find yourself humming the most obnoxious children's song you know when out with friends because it's been stuck in your head for days (and if your friends are Moms they join in!) You automatically add an irritated 'please' to the end of any request missing it even if the asker isn't a child You instantly forget how irritated you were with your child the second they give you a bright smile or do something adorable
