There's nothing sweeter than watching your children hold hands, or play together peacefully, or snuggle up at night...and these photos out of Australia's Wildlife Kilmore Rescue Centre show that it's not just our own tots who can play on these heartstrings!

Anzac and Peggy, both orphans, are two of a kind — except that Anzac is a baby kangaroo and Peggy is a baby wombat. Both are tiny and defenseless at this stage, and as these photos show, they're best buddies. In the absence of their moms, they cuddle together at the Rescue Centre, reassured by one another's movements and heartbeats.
