Toddler Saved from Certain Death by Getting His Head Caught (VIDEO)

Toddler Saved from Certain Death by Getting His Head Caught (VIDEO)

A recent mishap this Sunday in Guangzhou, China bears out a parent's worst fear at the toddler stage — that your curious kid will go exploring and wind up in a horrible accident. But as scary as this story is, it also has a happy and amazing ending.

The toddler, who climbed over the wall of his family's fourth story balcony in Guangzhou, which is 40 feet above the ground, got lodged — by his head! — in the grates that surround the building. Rather than falling to an almost certain death, he simply dangled there by his head until a courageous neighbor scaled the building to prop him up by the feet.

Watch the amazing (and nerve-racking!) rescue below.
