If you're lucky enough to live close to one another, find a workout class that you both like and try to attend at least once a week together. It's a great way to connect while staying healthy. Even though my mom lives a couple of hours away from me, when we're together, we make an effort to hit a yoga or Pilates class together. It's always a bonding experience — even if we're just laughing about how sore our abs are the next day!
