"My inspiration for the look and feel was Old World and elegant. We had an amazing venue to work with and we didn't want to overwhelm the space with too much fuss. We decided to use a neutral color linen for the tables and bring in small pops of color with the napkins and decor," Courtney says.
Over the table hung DIY map garlands. "This is a simple project but very time consuming!" Lisa says. "I collected old travel maps from thrift stores for 25 cents each, and then used two different sized hole punchers from the Martha Stewart crafts to cut out perfect circles. I then glued two circles together along a silk ribbon at varying intervals to create the hanging garland."
