I work at a Christian Food Bank / Center that accepts diapers that have been opened. As long as they're in good condition and clean, we are able to share them with client families that are in need.

I like to use them as packaging for fragile things. Plus it makes for a good laugh for the person receiving the package.

I read that diapers are also great to use in container gardening (they retain moisture well). Just a few holes need to be poked through them so they don't get too sopping. Apparently they keep potted plants from drying out too fast. I'm putting this theory to the test this summer (as we have at least five container plants).
