What's Your Bare Bump Worth?

What's Your Bare Bump Worth?

Christina Aguilera bares all on the January cover of Marie Claire. She's not the first celebrity mama to grace the cover of a fashion rag. A short-haired Demi Moore and free-spirited Britney Spears have done the same. How much would it take for you to pose naked on the cover of a magazine?

I have no issues whatsoever with pregnant women posing (I wish I had ...) for "belly pictures" ... but I just don't think Xtina looks all that great. Too blonde, too orange, ridiculous. No pregnant woman looks anything like this at her stage. Demi's pictures were nice, and I even thought Brit's were better than these.

It would definitely take a million to get me to least! My pregnant tummy was not terribly cute, but the baby inside was :)

I dont think totally nude is the way to go...its pretty trashy in my opinion. But i would have shown just the bump for free....mine was pretty huge and cool looking!! :D

Same here Greggie, I plan on having pics taken, just not sharing them with the world

Oh and I plan to have pregnancy photos done this time, I just have no plans to show anyone but my husband. And the photographer, obviously.

As much as I'd like to say never, if someone offered me a cool million and the airbrushing Christina got, I'd do it to buy a house, have a fourth baby, etc, etc, etc. I think those pictures are creepy, though.

As far as Christina goes, she always wears too much makeup so I think those photos are very representative of who she is. As for me, if you would have asked me this question the first time I was pregnant I would have said no way. Delivering my first son took away my discomfort with my body. I am extremely comfortable in my own skin and since this will most likely be my last baby I would really like to find a way to capture my belly in some tasteful photos that show off the miraculous bump without really showing any of my goods.

BTW I agree that these pictures of Christina do nothing for me. I think belly pictures should have a certain amount of innocence and purity but she is wearing too much makeup and it's almost like they're not about her belly but about her and that fact that she's nude.

If I were to be on a magazine cover I would probably want to get paid and more than $100, but not 1,000,000... that's a little much for a non famous mommy. But I would love to have some nice photos of me pregnant for the future memories.

Lots of women do this for their private collections....I guess all the more better when you have a kick ass airbrusher!

Ugh, it's like Christina Aguilera wants to have Jenna Jameson's excessive makeup from now and sleaziness from then.

I don't think this is trashy.. this is one of the few occasions where I think she should be proud of her naked body... being pregnant is an awesome event that is amazing. The way the female body is so resilient after such a huge transformation truely amazing

This look she has going on in these photos, along with her glam 1940's look she's been sporting in the past year, is preferable IMHO to the Dirrty/Stripped era look where she looked like her make-up came from a bucket and was applied with a 4 inch wide paint brush. She is too orange though and has been for years now, but frankly I just don't understand the appeal of fake tans, or even real tans for that matter. I do love that she's sharing her pregnancy openly with us now, instead of trying to hide it. Flaunt that belly mommy X-tina!

haha yeah she is really orange and her eyebrows look horrible lately.

I would do it for a million. I actually had my husband take a picture of me the night before I delivered and my bump looked just about the size of hers. The difference is that I am probably about 7 inches taller than her. The only thing was that my face got pudgy, so they would have to do some extra photoshop on my cheeks. LOL

I think she looks great - If I looked like her when I get pregnant I would do it.

These aren't nude pictures really. Just the illusion of nudity. Though I still wouldn't do it if you gave me all the money in the world. Pregnant or not...That's why I didn't become a model... I don't have a problem with nudity in art or pregnant women's bumps...this just isn't really art to me..and she looks more like a barbie then motherly.

I do not dig these - too orange, fake, and sleazy - but I thought Demi Moore's cover was very tasteful and artistic.

this is nasty. no real pregnant women look like this (bleached and orange). this is not aesthetically pleasing to me, and no its not b/c of her belly. even if her stomach was flat in these pics i would be grossed out. too much makeup!!
