The Incredible Details From This Fiesta-Inspired Brunch Are Almost too Pretty to Be For a Baby Shower

From the two-tiered, hand-painted, water color cake to the elegant air plant place cards, it's easily to mistake this brunch for a wedding. But don't get confused, this soirée is actually a seriously glam baby shower!

With Mexico's vibrant beaches serving as the inspiration for the colorful celebration, the mom-to-be decided on a bright aqua color scheme. Since the baby's gender was a surprise, pops of magenta and orange were incorporated throughout the the tablescape with linens and flowers to maintain a gender-neutral feel. The beach vibe was carried through out the decor from the air plant glass terrarium placeholders to the handmade watercolor gift tags. To complete the look, a delicate buttercream cake was painted with blending strokes of pastels to resemble sunset over the ocean horizon.

Mimosas and margaritas greeted guests, and vibrant Mexican fare enhanced the theme. Gold flatware and lush arrangements of garden roses and king protea added to the intimate party's special feel. While everyone collaborated to decorate a sweet onesie, a sombrero was also available for festive photo ops. The mom-to-be glowed in a fresh garden rose flower crown and thanked her 15 ladies with personalized favors and macarons.
