Guy Draws Girlfriend in 10 Different Famous Cartoon Styles — Can You Guess Them All?

Kells O'Hickey and his girlfriend, Linds, don't get a ton of time to spend together, but it often involves dinner at home followed by a relaxing evening in front of the TV watching cartoons. "I've always had a huge interest in cartoons and anime, and as we've been dating, she's developing an interest of her own," Kells, a sketch artist from Minnesota, told POPSUGAR.

So, as a gift to Linds, he decided to put his talents to work by illustrating them both in 10 different classic cartoon styles. From Disney to South Park, Simpsons to Family Guy, the end result is jaw-droppingly impressive.

"My favorite had to be Dragonball Z, mainly because it fulfilled a childhood dream of being a muscle-bound, spiky-haired, energy-beam-shooting anime character," he said. As for which was the hardest for him to pull off? "The most challenging has to be my interpretation of modern Disney style, probably due to it being the most 'realistic.'"

His girlfriend's reaction to the set of framed illustrations was as to be expected: "Her eyes looked pretty puffy," Kells said. "She jumped on me and gave me a huge hug and kiss. It was perfect. Her reaction nearly made me cry."
