Target Just Announced a New Line That Will Make You Say, "Anthropologie Who?"

There's nothing more disheartening than falling in love with the perfect decor piece for your home, only to check the price and get the wind knocked out of you by sticker shock. (I still have dreams about the stunning Anthropologie rug I lusted over before realizing the $100 price was for a tiny accent rug, and that the size I needed was around the price of my first car.) But Target's new home decor line, Opalhouse, hopes to change that experience for us all. Meet Opalhouse, a colorful home brand launching in the Spring with over 1,300 pieces . . . most priced between $2 and $30.

In a blog post about the new line, Target describes an affordable way to achieve the worldly, eclectic, boho-chic style that can be difficult to afford without international jet-setting or a hefty budget:

Target's design team traveled far and wide to cities like Aix-en-Provence, Lisbon, Paris, and Mallorca to gather inspiration to create a collection of authentically-inspired, eclectic pieces. And with most items under $30, guests can incorporate the unique designs and elevated details (think pressed glass, jewel-tone silks, and velvets, to name a few) into their homes without breaking the bank—no passport needed.

Opalhouse will also feature tons of original artwork — more than any decor line currently offered by the retailer, in fact — created by the Target team, inspired by their travels across the globe. So prepare to infuse your living space with wallpapers, printed linens, and more that will fill you with wanderlust! Between Chip and Joanna Gaines's Hearth and Hand collection and Target's modern Project 62 decor line, you've got more reasons than ever to make a Target run "for one thing" and leave with a cart-full.

The line hits Target stores and the online shop on April 8, but you can check out a sneak peek of the line below.
