This Adorable Kitty Absolutely LOVES the Ocean, and I'm Sorry, Say What?

As the owner of three adorable — and slightly rotund — felines, I'm pretty much a sucker for any cute kitty in sight. And while there's no doubt cats are my favorite animals on planet earth, I'd be lying if I said my brood was particularly talented at anything other than waking me up at 3 a.m. for food and sleeping all dang day. But apparently, not all kitties are quite as lazy. Meet Nathan — or Nathan the Beach Cat to her 318,000 Instagram followers — a 1-year-old black cat who is taking the internet by storm with her insane swimming skills.

After being found in a box on the freeway in Australia, Nathan was eventually adopted by her humans, Rian and Mel, and boy, is she living the good life. Although it's a pretty well-known fact that all cats absolutely loathe water in any way, shape, or form, Nathan prefers to spend her time swimming with her parents and lounging on the beach.
