14 Ways to Get Your LGBTQ+ Pride on AND Support a Good Cause

It's no secret that all sorts of brands like to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Hell, even at POPSUGAR, we're blasting out inspirational spotlights of queer trailblazers [1] all month long. Then you have the rainbow-washed beauty brands [2], gorgeous multicolor accessories [3], and all sorts of fun clothing options [4]. Yep, there are even rainbow Mickey Mouse ears [5] for all the LGBTQ+ Disney superfans. It's incredible to see so much visibility and celebration focused on the LGBTQ+ community, so we've decided to highlight a whole bunch of fun collections that are going the extra mile and donating their proceeds to charitable causes and important organizations.

Converse

Converse has launched the Converse Pride Collection [6] by Miley Cyrus [7], and all net proceeds will support the brand's LGBTQ+ partners globally. This includes Cyrus's Happy Hippie Foundation [8], the It Gets Better Project [9], Rainbow Youth [10], and Minus 18 [11].


American Eagle

American Eagle has partnered with the It Gets Better Project [12] to create a Pride collection, with 100 percent of sales going back to It Gets Better.


Urban Outfitters

The Pride collection from Urban Outfitters [13] will give a portion of sales to GLSEN [14], the leading organization focused on creating LGBTQ-inclusive schools.


Under Armour

Under Armour's rainbow collection [15] is called "United We Win." The main page says the brand is proud to support Athlete Ally [16], an organization fostering LGBTQ+ support in the sports community.


Madewell

Madewell is supporting the Human Rights Campaign [17] with its own collection [18] called "Love to all." Fifty percent of profits from its rainbow shirt and tote will go to the organization.


Levi's

Levi's has created a stellar new Pride collection [19], and said on its official Twitter account that 100 percent of net proceeds [20] would "go toward organizations helping LGBTQ communities around the world."


Milk Makeup

Milk Makeup unleashed a whole Pride pack of glittery products [21], with 50 percent of the retail purchase price going toward The Center [22], NYC's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community center.


J. Crew

J. Crew has partnered with the Human Rights Campaign [23] to craft a "Love first." collection [24]. Fifty percent of proceeds will be donated to the HRC.


Zenni Optical

Zenni Optical has unveiled splashy rainbow frames [25] to celebrate Pride, and will donate 100 percent of proceeds to the It Gets Better Project.


Hollister

Hollister has a whole bunch of fun products in its Pride collection [26], and will donate 100 percent of proceeds (up to $25,000) to GLSEN [27]. The site also notes that the brand will donate at least $250,000 to the organization through this partnership.


H&M

H&M has released its "Pride Out Loud" launch [28], which will be on sale through November. The site states that 10 percent of sales will go toward the United Nations Free & Equal campaign [29]. And they've guaranteed a donation amount of $350,000!


Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie & Fitch has launched the Made For Love collection [30], with 100 percent of proceeds up to $20,000 going to The Trevor Project [30]. The site also notes that the brand will donate at least $250,000 to The Trevor Project in 2018.


The Human Rights Campaign

I mean, the Human Rights Campaign [31] is already a nonprofit organization that fights for the rights and equal treatment of LGBTQ+ people. So, when you shop their Pride collection [32], you'll know the money is going to a good place.


Gap

Along with H&M, Gap is donating $5 from each sale of its special Pride tee [33] to the United Nations Free & Equal campaign [33], and they've guaranteed a minimum donation of $10,000.
